A Lafayette chapter of G.R.O. (Girl Riders Organization) has been established and will be headed up by Monique Dupas. A FREE SKATE DAY for girls will be held the last Sunday of each month. The next one is scheduled for Sunday, February 28th.

The Berrics and Agenda
Recently I took a trip out to California to attend the Agenda trade show. Most trade shows are all the same. This one was not! The Berrics and the Agenda trade show flew one person from each of the Berrics Unified shops out to the show. If you still don't know what The Berrics Unified is click here and check it out.
The Berrics partnered up with the Agenda trade show and created something unique, The Berrics Agenda. This special portion of the trade show was dedicated to the skateboard industry. All of your favorite skateboard companies, pro skaters, skate specific clothing companies and skate shoe companies were on hand showing their new product and hanging out. The reason for all of this, to bring skateboarding to new heights.
Each night there was something going on. The first night we went to the Cons headquarters. They showed the new "Prevent this Tragedy" Cons/Thrasher dvd and let everybody skate their private training facility.
Deg picked me up from the airport in the Caddi.
We saw old friends like Justin Roy hard at work for Deathwish and Shake Junt.
We hung out with Lizard King.
We did the trade show thing.

Saturday night we got to go to The Berrics.
